Born and raised in Brownsville but now live in Central TX, but when we are in town we come here regularly for breakfast or lunch! Great food, and great service. Though it can get packed because of this. But worth it!

It is a good place for Mexican food, I like going there for menudo. For breakfast I had the barbecue taco with queso fresco. I've also eaten at D-Tony's for lunch. I had their milanesa and it was delicious.

Loved it - authentic Mexican breakfast and lunch. Small family run restaurant - great warm salsa. I had the chili rellenos and it was cooked well with a great coating and sauce. Husband had chicken enchiladas and really loved the sauce. The rice was Mexican not Spanish rice - very moist. Both dishes came with rice and beans and the chili rellenos came with two fresh flour tortillas - small but fresh. They do speak English. Accepts credit cards. Ramp for wheelchairs. Parking is enough for restaurant size but if you go for breakfast - expect a wait and right parking. Lots of traditional breakfast options at good prices. Good value. We also got guacamole which was fresh and the ingredient were separate so you could mix what you wanted in. (Add some salsa - very good)

One of the best Mexicans Restaurants I've ever been to. The food is so delicious the place is clean. I usually come here for breakfast and I'm always satisfied. The Machado con huevo a la Mexican is soooooo good!! Love it! I've also had papas con huevo and chorizo and I request my beans to be refried they taste better. The tortillas de harina are huge and taste amazing.
